Criollitos La Guaira
Criollitos de Venezuela is the country’s grassroots youth baseball league, founded in 1962. Its La Guaira regional directorate, led by director Jhorny Sojo, organizes leagues, tournaments and training for children across La Guaira state, from the youngest Semilleros to teenage players.
Beyond the diamond, Criollitos La Guaira uses sport as a school for life: discipline, teamwork and self-esteem. Together with partners, it runs socio-emotional sessions for its young players and their families.
We Love Foundation supports Criollitos La Guaira as part of the Venezuela rebuild, restoring a baseball field so local kids have a safe place to train and compete again.
