Fundación Cardioinfantil
Fundación Cardioinfantil, known today as LaCardio, was founded in Bogotá to give children with heart disease access to the surgery and care their families could not afford. Five decades on it is ranked the number one cardiology hospital in Colombia, with transplant programs, 24/7 emergency care, medical education and research, and annual diagnostic heart brigades that reach more than 12 departments of the country.
Our 2023 Gala at the Rubell Museum raised funds for Fundación Cardioinfantil, and heart surgeries for children were among the causes supported through the 2022 Bazaar For Good.
