Hurricanes Irma & Maria Support

In September 2017, Hurricane Irma swept across Florida and Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico and the Caribbean within two weeks of each other. Many families in the Venezuelan diaspora, and the communities around them in South Florida, were hit while still rebuilding their lives.

I Love Venezuela Foundation, today We Love Foundation, responded with a support donation and relief effort for those affected, part of a year that also brought multiple trips to Venezuela and vital medical and food supplies. It was one of the first times the foundation directed resources beyond Venezuela, a path that led to the Florida and global programs we run today.
