Foundation born Nov 19, 2013 at Gala for El Salvador Humanitarian Foundation. Where three friends created the concept for I Love Venezuela Foundation.

In its first full year, the foundation launched volunteer trips to Venezuela and created the Heart Campaign, a signature symbol of the brand. The year closed with the first independent gala, cementing fundraising as a core driver of impact.

Momentum grew with over six trips to Venezuela, partnerships with schools, hospitals, and indigenous communities, and the beginning of food and medical shipments. ILVF also sponsored Venezuelan students at the World Mathematics Olympiad, where two later earned admission to MIT.

The foundation expanded internationally with alliances in Mexico and sponsorship of students in Latin American Olympiads. Major events included the Festival de Venezuela and the third annual gala featuring David Bisbal, bringing record donations to nonprofits across Venezuela.

ILVF deepened its presence with multiple trips, high-profile galas, and relief efforts for Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Partnerships with Kellogg’s School of Management, Spotify NYC, and global companies reflected its growing reputation. The team also supported math Olympians and provided vital medical and food supplies.

This was a year of global expansion, with the launch of ILVF Sweden, events in the U.S. and Europe, and continued trips to Venezuela. Partnerships with Cadena Foundation and other NGOs extended aid to Colombia, while cultural and educational initiatives continued to flourish.

The foundation gained strong backing from athletes like Gleyber Torres and Jhonattan Vegas, who hosted events to raise funds. Gala proceeds supported Fundaprocura and Ads Hope, while trips to Venezuela and Colombia expanded direct aid. Students sponsored by ILVF earned medals in international Olympiads.

COVID-19 shifted priorities to emergency relief. ILVF organized 16 food drives, supported local Venezuelan restaurants, and sent millions in medical supplies, PPE, and equipment to Venezuela and Spain. Despite global challenges, the foundation’s outreach touched every state in Venezuela.

As the pandemic persisted, ILVF continued supporting communities with PPE, toy drives, and cultural campaigns. The team partnered with athletes like Olympic BMX medalist Daniel Dhers and contributed to the Pan American Benefit Gala, raising meals and aid for Venezuelan families.

This year saw diverse initiatives: from concerts in Venezuela and Berlin to flood relief in Aragua. The foundation sponsored brain surgeries through Mission Brain and continued supporting Amigos Sinfónicos events, strengthening both cultural and healthcare outreach.

The annual gala at the Rubell Museum expanded support to ILVF, Mission Brain, and Fundación Cardioinfantil. The foundation donated ultrasound machines to hospitals in Venezuela, hosted multiple food drives, and inaugurated the Centro Cultural Alvaro Talayero in Canaima National Park.
